AIRPORT SAFETY

Operations Safety Forum (OSF)

The Operations Safety Forum (OSF), which meets in the Spring and Autumn each year, comprises members of the BCAL management team, Manager Air Traffic Services and various tenants and operators of both fixed-wing and rotary aircraft.  The members provide a broad representation of the stakeholders interested in the flying activities undertaken at Shoreham and within the local airspace with particular focus on flight safety.

The OSF is charged by the Chairman of the Safety Action Group to identify and resolve (to ALARP) aviation safety-related issues and to disseminate related information to stakeholders either as minutes of meetings or through Aerodrome Safety Bulletins/Notices. Safety Reporting Form

Safety is our absolute priority and we encourage an open and honest safety culture.

We provide the opportunity for all users of the airport to report (anonymously if required) any safety-related incidents or observations which may cause concern.  Reports can be sent to us using the postbox located in the Firestation Briefing Room, or online, using the Flight Safety Reporting Form below.  Please also use this form to make any suggestions of safety improvements at Brighton City Airport.

If a response is required, please provide contact details, and we will be in touch.
